If you have been sitting around Berlin, scratching your head at German comedy and generally banging your head against your television sets waiting for some good ol' Canadian joke time, then I have some excellent news for you!
Rapid Fire Theatre, home of some of Canada's best improvisers, is doing a short run at the English Theatre in Berlin.

It's two different improv acts performed in one night, sandwitched around a delicious intermission.
First it's Scratch, where two improvisers play about a dozen characters which they juggle between them while they wind together multiple story lines all culminating in a climax that nobody can see coming because... well, it's improvised. It's always different! It's fast, it's intense and it's hilarious.
Then it's Thread-Bear, a much more chilled take on the whole improv thing, where we ease into the jokes like a warm bubble bath. And then you realize there's a homeless dude in the bath tub with you... but you're cool with it. It's the perfect counterpoint to Scratch.
And accompanying us in both halves of the show is... a live cellist!
WHAT!?!
Yes.
Believe it.
And he is awesome.

We'll have some wicked laughs, listen to some awesome tunes, then we can all go out and have a beer afterwards? Sound good?
So if you're hankering for some homestyle comedy cooking, come on down to the English Theatre in Berlin and say hello.
